We got schooled...

...Sarah and I tried so very hard to fix my computer today. We tried everything...we even had an IT guy emailing us trying to tell us how to fix it. We worked on it all morning...NOTHING worked. Very frustrated I went install wireless on the two front computers (yes...while setting mine we got rid of the wireless on all but Linda's computer...don't ask us how!) After many...many...many attempts I figured out that I was using the wrong disk to put the wireless onto the computer. GO ME. After having Linda locate the correct disk I was able (after several more failed attempts) to install wireless on both of the students computers.

Now comes the slightly embarrassing part, both Sarah and I were only slightly frustrated with what was going on so we were letting Thomas just stew in the back room letting him think about what he had done...ok that was my thinking at least...Sarah was actually working. Linda decides to go back to see what she can do...AND SHE FIXED IT. She went back and fixed something that Sarah and I spent hours trying to fix. I would like to say in our defense we were trying to fix the problem and Linda just hit the ok button. Seriously. The computer erased my password so it was not password protected at all. Boy did we get SCHOOLED.

Moral of the story....try the blinding obvious first.

On a slightly more happy note I was able to install my printer without any mishaps this time around. Although I gave up on Microsoft 2007...don't judge me.

Now Linda is on vacation and Sarah and I are just... well working on our lists. Although we all have the rest of the week off...Sarah, because she only works part time and me, because I have more VISTA training starting tomorrow. We will dominate next week though...I have a feeling.

Best,
Kaitlin

P.S.-I think Thomas maybe an epileptic...
